I’m back. And I’m early. Did you miss me? I didn’t think so. Well here’s where we stand: It’s late in the month of may. It’s snowing. A lot. Spring in the rockies can be so glorious, and also so frustrating. Glorious when you are given the opportunity to strap in to your snowboard. Frustrating when all you want is to go on a bike ride in the sun. Have you figured out what I’m early for? Yeah, surly saturdays. Well, up until now, we could really only call it Surly Saturday, as i’ve only posted once on this subject. and it wasn’t even surly. not even a little bit. but that is besides the point. today is surly saturday to me. What’s the deal with the USPS? I mean i can understand they’re a little upset because Lance left, but come on. This is your job. and my tax dollars pay your salary. you could at least try to care. why does it seem that myself and everyone else in line is an inconvenience on your day? like i just showed up to a halloween party that you’ve spent countless hours planning and perfecting, and i’m not wearing a costume. that i could maybe understand. but all i’m asking you to do is your job. all i want is my mail. or a package from my grandmother. or maybe i’m sending my mother a gift. and don’t you want to help me show my mom how much i love her? i guess not. sorry i asked. well today, i didn’t have a package from my grandmother. or something for my mom. no. i had these gorgeous babies waiting for me. a gift for myself. And to think that that little branch of government that we have all come to love tried to keep them away from me.

love.
Would you just look at how beautiful those things are? Low profile design, superior fit, super stiff midsole, and a full length airbag built into the footbed to boot. Literally. And for extra credit, every dollar that nike makes on ‘em gets donated to the livestrong foundation. So you, too, should purchase the world’s greatest urban cycling shoe. But don’t take it from me. look who else loves ‘em:

See you next week.
